By using Tharakan’s services, you trust us with your information.  This policy helps you understand information that you would use for various purposes. It involves what data to collect, why we collect it ad what we do with this data.

We collect data/ information to help us serve you better by the products you would want to buy.  When you use our services or view content provided by Tharakan’s, we automatically collect and store certain information in server logs. This includes:

Details of how you used our service, such as your search queries.

Telephony log information, such as your phone number, calling-party number, forwarding numbers, time and date of calls, duration of calls, SMS routing information and types of calls.

Device event information, such as crashes, system activity, hardware settings, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and referral URL.

We do not share personal information with companies, organizations and individuals outside of Tharakan’s unless one of the following circumstances applies:

We will share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside Tharakan's when we have your consent to do so. We require opt-in consent for the sharing of any sensitive personal information.

For legal reasons, We will share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside Tharakan’, if we have a belief in good faith that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:

• Meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.
• Enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations.
• Detect, prevent or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues.
• Protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Tharakan's, our users or the public, as required or permitted by law.

We regularly review our compliance with our Privacy Policy. When we receive formal written complaints, we will contact the person who made the complaint to follow up

We work with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of personal data that we cannot resolve with our users directly.

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent.

 Terms & Conditions

Tharakans Duty Paid has some options for the customers to avail within a certain time limit. Same day Delivery / Cash on Delivery is restricted to in and around Thrissur, Kerala only.

• Same Day Delivery applies only to those customers who live within the 20 km range of the store.
• The Same Day Delivery Option is available on few eligible items and on those  for which the product is available in that city/State.
• All orders for Same Day Delivery must be ordered within the time frame given.
• Pin-codes outside of Thrissur, Kerala are not eligible for the Same Day Delivery option.
• For the Order to be processed, the appropriate option for the same must be done at the earliest before the check out process within the time frame mentioned.
• Heavy Appliances and electronics are a big no for the same day delivery option.
• We or Tharakans are not responsible for either late delivery or no person to receive while being sent at home.
• Saturdays and Sundays are Holidays as these Courier offices would be closed.

Refunds for Non Delivery

Tharakans returns the refund only if the product sent is either sealed or product packed not broken.

If the order is Cash On Delivery, we request you to please bring the DOA (Dead or Alive) Letter along with the Acknowledgement of the Service Center wherever applicable.( In case of Mobiles) and /or the appliance in person.

All orders will be kept on hold for 2 days (48 Hrs), if not received by the customer on time. After which the mobile or product would be discarded or disposed off.

Offers Refunds

All ordered products processed and confirmed by the customer, are subject to generation of Invoice or Bill for the benefit of the customer. All discount coupons or vouchers with the prescribed amount are necessary to be quoted at the time of the refund.
